Funny Cat Videos

I'm fairly lucky being the proud owner of my own cat and having a regular gathering of others in my back garden. Not sure why but several cats from around the area seem to be happy to congregate in my garden and hang out - almost like some sort of kitty social club.

Usually, they seem content to sit around washing, other times all hell breaks loose as they simultaneously attack each other or some other randon object in the garden. The apple tree is a firm favourite which they leap at and try to gain the high ground for the strategic advantage.

Cats never fail to impress me with their boundless curiosity and sheer entertainment value. I had a quick look on YouTube and thought i would share this video that i found showing some funny but truly typical cat behaviour.

Even Squirrels have Super Heroes.

Here’s an interesting thought submitted by one of our followers. Do animals have their own Super Heroes?

Well, strange as it may seem, many of our best loved TV programs from childhood were based on such heroes. A couple that come to mind include…

Hong Kong Phooey
Danger Mouse
Batfink
Biker Mice from Mars
Count Duckula
Howard the Duck
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Secret Squirrel

Some lesser known animal super heroes and, to be honest, rather bizarre creations include…

Thunder Bunny
SWAT Kats
Super Chicken
Street Sharks
Space Beaver
Skunk from Skunk Fu
Rainbow Rabbit

Do you have a favourite animal superhero? If so let us know.

So next time you’re out and about and you catch a glimpse of something moving out of the corner of your eye or leaping from tree to tree, have a look, have a good look – it might not be as ordinary as you think.

Cat in Wheelie Bin Woman Charged

Good news animal lovers!  Mary Bale, the woman accused of dumping a cat into a wheelie bin after being caught on a neighbors CCTV camera has been charged by the RSPCA.

Mrs. Bale, 45, sparked international outrage when video footage of her stroking then dumping a cat into a wheelie bin was broadcast around the world.

The terrified animal was trapped for 15 hours before her owners Stephanie Andrews-Mann, 24, and husband Darryl, 26, finally found Lola, the four year old cat the following morning.

Mrs. Bale has been charged with two animal cruelty offences by the Royal Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (RSPCA) and will appear before Coventry Magistrates Court next month, accused of causing unnecessary suffering to a cat and not providing an animal with a suitable environment.

RSPCA spokeswoman Judith Haw said: ''Mary Elizabeth Bale from St Michaels Road in Coventry is due to appear before Coventry Magistrates Court on Tuesday 19 October at 10am to face two criminal charges, contrary to the Animal Welfare Act 2006.”

We are sure that pet and animal lovers from around the world will be as pleased as we are at Cuckoo Creatures that Mrs. Bale was caught and is due to face trial in the coming weeks.

We understand that 4 year old Lola is now recovering from her ordeal at home and is planning to deal with Mrs. Bale at a later date.
